Manpower

All VOSH Southeast missions take place in communities which have substantial unemployment or underemployment.

Our missions require several people (usually eight to ten or more) to do clerical work filling out admission forms, to give very routine eye tests, to serve as interpreters and do occasional labor, such as carrying boxes, moving furniture, et cetera.

Always, Host Organizations have found willing students, religious leaders, teachers, and other volunteers in the communities who will help the Mission Team without compensation.

VOSH Southeast hopes that every Host Organization will be able to find us some members of the community who will work with us without salary in order to both help the community and to enjoy happy fellowship with Americans who like to work and have fun.

VOSH Southeast – Providing vision care to people around the world who can not afford or obtain it.
